Physical Audit
To ensure accuracy and minimise risk, we conducted a thorough physical audit of the existing infrastructure. This included:

- Recording serial numbers and port configurations.
- Labeling dedicated cables for reuse at the destination site.

Cable Tracing and Pre-Cabling
We traced network cables and pre-cabled the destination site to streamline the migration process. This involved:
- Installing and labeling copper and fiber cables.
- Managing cables to the correct U position in line with destination rack plans and patching schedules.
- Implementing a change freeze post pre-cabling to minimise risk.
We used state-of-the-art equipment and technology to complete the pre-cabling process efficiently and to the highest standards. Our flexibility in offering tailored solutions met the unique needs of the client.

Physical Migration
On the day of the migration, we executed a meticulous decommission to recommission solution:
- Decommissioning and Labeling: Our engineers decommissioned and labeled all devices required for migration in line with the destination rack plans. This step ensured that each piece of equipment was correctly identified and prepared for transport.
- Packing: Equipment was carefully packed using anti-static bubble wrap and placed into purpose-built, foam-lined server flight cases. Rail kits associated with the migration were also labeled and packed in foam-lined rail kit flight cases.
- Transportation: The packed equipment was loaded onto GPS-tracked, solid-sided vehicles. For added security, flight cases could be security tagged and sealed, with the onsite client contact signing an equipment itinerary to confirm secure packing.
- Unloading and Installation: Upon arrival at the destination site, our team unloaded the flight cases and moved them into position within the new facility. The equipment was then unpacked and installed according to the destination rack plans. Devices were recommissioned in line with the pre-cabled racks and patching schedules provided.

Post-Commissioning Support
